The 2016 Stark County Digital Orthoimagery Project - In the Spring of 2016, Stark County obtained new orthoimagery covering the entire county (+/- 581 sq. miles). Products produced were 4-band, 8-bit orthophotos with a 0.5ft ground sample distance (GSD). The aerial imagery was collected during leaf-off conditions at a minimum resolution of 6-inch resolution. The orthos for this task order are delivered as a countywide dataset, consisting of 2500' x 2500' uncompressed 8-bit, 4-band color GeoTIFF files. Horizontal accuracy is based upon NMAS Standards for 1"=100' scale base mapping. Along the perimeter of the project area, ortho-imagery is buffered at 100-feet. Imagery was collected with Intergraph Z/I DMC-II Airborne Digital Frame Camera and rectified using LiDAR data. The file naming convention is as follows: anxxxyyy (Ohio North Zone); Please note that xxx and yyy represent the easting and northing coordinates (respectively) in state plane feet. Each GeoTIFF ortho file is approximately 100 megabytes in size. Additional deliverables include Countywide MrSIDs Seamless Image Database (RGB - 20x and 100x; CIR - 20x and 100x, and tile index provided as ESRI shapefile.</abstract>
<purpose>The County has a goal to develop and/or update their existing orthoimagery and LiDAR geospatial datasets for use by City/County/State agencies, other levels of government, academia, and the general public, and to provide these datasets for inclusion to OGRIP. OGRIP is a State of Ohio resource for geographic information technology users.</purpose>

<procdesc>The imagery for this task order was acquired using the Intergraph Z/I DMC-II Airborne Digital Frame Camera which uses Z/I Inflight Flight Navigation System and Z/I gyro-stabilized camera mount along with a NovAtel GNSS dual frequency receiver and NovAtel LN-200 series inertial measurement unit (IMU) for the measurements of the camera position and orientation during flight operations. The IMU/Airborne GNSS data was reduced using NovAtel’s Inertial Explorer v8.60 software package. All of the source imagery was initially processed in Leica’s FramePro software for image frame generation, and then final processed using the ImageStation Automatic Traiangulation (ISAT) 2015 software package. This package provides the capability to perform digital image processing, aerial triangulation, and image rectification. The imagery was ortho rectified to newly collected LiDAR digtial elevation model (DEM) data. The individual rectified strips of ortho rectified imagery were then mosaicked together to form a seamless imagery database over the entire task order area using the OrthoVista software (V4.5) by Inpho GmbH. The final digital orthophoto imagery (DOI) were extracted using OrthoVista.</procdesc>
